Young Kim
Congresswoman
Congresswoman Young Kim is proud to represent California’s 40th District, which includes parts of Orange, San Bernardino and Riverside counties, in the U.S. House of Representatives.
An immigrant, small business owner, community leader, former California Assemblywoman, mother, and grandmother, Young is proud to be one of the first Korean American women ever to serve in Congress and is fighting to help all Americans have the chance to achieve their dream just like she did.
In the House of Representatives, Young serves on the House Foreign Affairs Committee – where she serves as Chairwoman of the Indo-Pacific Subcommittee and as a member of the Africa Subcommittee – and on the House Financial Services Committee – where she serves as Vice Chairwoman of the Subcommittee on National Security, Illicit Finance, and International Financial Institutions and as a member of the Financial Institutions and Monetary Policy Subcommittee. Young also serves as co-chair of the Women in STEM Caucus, the Financial Literacy and Wealth Creation Caucus, and the Maternity Care Caucus.
Phillip Chen
California State Assemblyman
Phillip Chen is a member of the California State Assembly.
He represents the 59th State Assembly District, which encompasses portions of Orange and San Bernardino counties and includes the cities of Anaheim Hills, Brea, Chino, Chino Hills, Fullerton, North Tustin, Orange, Placentia, Villa Park, and Yorba Linda.
Chen graduated from Servite High School in Anaheim and earned his BA in Communications from California State University, Fullerton as well as an MA in Public Administration and a Doctoral of Educational Psychology from the University of Southern California. He also served as an Adjunct Faculty Professor at the USC Sol Price School of Public Policy.
Chen was elected overwhelmingly to the California State Assembly in November of 2016, 2018, 2020 and 2022.
Chen is a former LA County Reserve Sheriff’s Deputy. In 2009, he was recognized as the Walnut/Diamond Bar Sheriff’s Station Reserve Deputy of the Year.
Farrah Khan
Irvine City Mayor
Mayor Farrah N. Khan made history in November of 2020, becoming the 23rd Mayor of Irvine. She not only received the highest number of votes for the position of Mayor in the city’s history, but also shattered glass ceilings as the first woman of color to hold the position, and the first Muslim woman to lead a large city in the United States. She was re-elected as Mayor in 2022 to serve her second term. She was first elected to the Irvine City Council in 2018.
Mayor Khan grew up in northern California and began her career in the biotech and innovation industry as a regulatory affairs manager focusing on streamlining complex products and international research. She and her family moved to Irvine in 2004, where her two sons have had the privilege of attending Irvine public schools since kindergarten. She and her husband also serve as Legacy Partners with the Irvine Public Schools Foundation.
Dave Min
California State Senator
Senator Dave Min was elected in 2020 to represent Orange County’s 37th State Senate District, which includes in the cities of Costa Mesa, Huntington Beach, Irvine, Laguna Beach, Laguna Woods, Lake Forest, Newport, Orange, Tustin, and Villa Park. As well as the communities of Anaheim Hills, Corona Del Mar, Foothill Ranch, North Tustin, and Silverado Canyon.
As the only Korean American in the Legislature, Senator Min is proud member of the California Asian and Pacific Islander (API) Legislative Caucus which has been instrumental in the passage of the historic AAPI Equity Budget. In response to the rise in anti-Asian hate during the COVID-19 pandemic, the $166.5 million investment addresses longstanding racial inequities, provides services to victims of hate crimes, and funds prevention efforts.
Before joining the State Senate, Senator Min was a law professor at UC Irvine, where he taught and researched in the area of business law. He is one of the country’s leading experts on banking and housing policy, and has testified six times before Congress on these issues.
Leonard Lane
UC Irvine Professor
Professor Leonard Lane is an Emeritus Continuing Lecturer, Strategy with a special emphasis in International Business and Supply Chain Orchestration at the Paul Merage School of Business and a Senior Advisor to the Group Chairman Fung Group, Hong Kong. He is a seasoned international executive with over 50 years of global experience who has led multiple fortune 1000 firms strategic planning process as well as working with Sustainability/Compliance functions, supply chain redesigns and the development of Innovation hubs in Shanghai and Hong Kong for the Fung Group. Professor Lane works closely with the Merage Institute helping Israeli entrepreneurs in developing U.S. market entry strategies and has taught in the Institutes 45+ Program in Israel. He has been a professor at UCI since 2005 where he continues to teach the schools core Global Business and Competitive Intelligence classes, is a featured speaker on the Future of Globalization in a White Water World and published author of two books and numerous articles and posts. Dr. Lane serves as an Advisor to the boards of Dray Alliance and Nutek, Israel. He also served as an Advisor to the Chairman and CEO of Ceradyne Inc.
Dr. Lane received his bachelor’s in political science with minors in International Relations and Macro-economics and MBA from the University of Southern California and his DBA from Case Western University and is a certified EN-ROADS Ambassador. Dr. Lane served in the U.S. Marine Corps and is a Canadian and Hawaii Ironman finisher.

Dave Liu is a seasoned business growth driver with over 20 years of experience in the consumer electronics, ecommerce, and retail industries communicating and collaborating across multidisciplinary teams from Taiwan, China, South Korea, US, Canada, and South America
Dave is the author of, Say It This Way, a book written to help the people of Taiwan communicate more effectively in business English by recognizing cultural pitfalls and applying key tactics.
Dave received his B.A. degrees in Economics and Political Science from the University of California, Irvine. He received his MBA from the Paul Merage School of Business at the University of California, Irvine.

With a deep-seated passion for empowering students to achieve their academic and career goals, Jong has dedicated his career to providing personalized, high-impact tutoring and consulting services for over 20 years- helping students succeed at America's top universities.
Jong holds a B.S. degree in Biological Science, a B.S. Chemistry from University of California, Irvine and a M.S. in Chemistry from Calpoly Pomona.

Audrey received her Bachelor’s degree in Economics from the University of California, Los Angeles.

As Chief Operating Officer at KSK Medical, Karl oversees a comprehensive range of services, including cutting-edge cancer treatment, advanced medical imaging, outpatient surgical care, and innovative brain health programs.
Karl's commitment to healthcare extends beyond his professional role. He is actively engaged with multiple educational and health-focused non-profit organizations, where he leverages his expertise to drive initiatives that enhance public health and community education.
